April 21st, 2018 marked the opening day for the Rolando Paulino Little League in the South Bronx. Yankees' Luis Cessa and Miguel Andujar threw out the first pitches. The league honored the AJ Cina Memorial Fund with a plaque for its ongoing support. Pictured are the recipients of the award are Derek Hassan, Joe Cina Jr., and Joe Cina Sr.

The fund recently received an anonymous donation of lacrosse gear and apparel. We were able to send it to a league in the South Bronx and the Dominican Republic where it will be used for various sports, including, soccer, baseball, and basketball.

AJ Cina Memorial Fund

Our goal is to help children learn and grow, play and have fun, primarily through our efforts to improve community youth sports experiences in less privileged areas.

On April 29th, 2017, We made our largest donation to date. We outfitted the Rolando Paulino Little League in the Bronx with uniforms. Every kid in the league this year will wear the AJ patch. In a speech dedicating this season to the memory of AJ, it was said "Have fun, love the game, and juega como AJ (Play like AJ)."
