​AJ was a very special young man with the gift of making
everyone in his presence feel loved. In the words of his best friend Derek, “he was perfect!” He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, teammate and friend. He was a kind and gentle soul. Generous, pure in heart with a wicked sense of humor. He was loved by everyone who knew him. 

​AJ was a gifted athlete who enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and soccer. He was a true athletic all-star. He was a big fan of the Yankees, Giants and Knicks. He shared his passion for his teams with his family and friends. AJ was also a talented musician who played the saxophone and was a
self-taught pianist. AJ excelled in his school work and was a very bright and intelligent young man.  

​He will be dearly, dearly missed by all those who knew him.
Life as we knew it, will never be the same. Although we have lost a shining star he will continue to live on in our hearts.
